Job Description The role will be responsible to support the team for building/enhancing controls in support of the Global Markets business in Asia.
This role may suit a former operations officer (especially Middle Office) or someone with a financial control, project management background. You must have a strong understanding of the front office environment. Alternatively an audit or compliance background may suit with a strong analytical background and high comfort level in dealing with data.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include the following (working with your team lead): • Support to ensure that global markets activities are compliant with internal and external regulatory guidelines • Provide support for analyses of policy applicable to GM Asia (existing and going forward), and implementation of processes enabling compliance with the same, in collaboration with COOs and support Partners • Maintenance of SID/SMA (Supervisory Information database and supervisory management application) infrastructure and testing of documented supervisory procedures against actual • Maintenance organization charts (with accurate identification of primary and regulatory supervisors) • Associate on-boarding and enablement (new hires & transfers) • Seating chart / space planning and helping to ensure staff are provided with an effective and efficient working environment • Expense monitoring and related controls

Desired skills: Proficient in an MS Office environment with a focus on advanced Excel skills and Access. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work in a team and under pressure
